Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, portable telecommunications technology based on the use of electromagnetic waves has been rapidly developing. There has also been considerable interest in the evaluation of the interaction between EM fields and the human body. Therefore, we calculated the specific absorption rate (SAR) in a fetus radiated from a mobile phone. However, the effects of exposure in a fetus by new types of radio terminal such as a tablet computer have not been investigated yet. In this study, we developed the numerical model of the typical tablet computer, and also evaluated fetal SAR in a pregnancy radiated from the tablet computer model using the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method.
