Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Technical Committee on Ad Hoc Networks and Technical Committee on Ubiquitous and Sensor Networks was established respectively in April 2007. These integrate evolutionary, new Technical Committee on Ambient intelligence and Sensor Networks was established in April 2013. The combined age of the ad hoc Technical Committee from 2004, in Technical Committee on Ad Hoc Networks, during the period of more than eight years, held 36 times Workshops and Technical Meetings and the presentation of 618 cases were performed. I think contribute towards the practical application of ad hoc networks is not enough, but was able to contribute in terms of technology, such as directional antenna technology and routing technology. In addition, I think we can contribute to the international standardization of certain. Research interests of new Technical Committee include a network technology as well as big data processing technology and a framework technology for applications required to form the ambient intelligence. The management policy of this Technical Committee is the discovery of the complex field of research in collaboration with other academic society and a contribution to the industry. I expect that the activities of this Technical Committees are to develop technologies for the ambient intelligence and contribute to building new social infrastructure.
