Packet transfer delay model in 3G mobile network

Abstract(in English) With evolution of 3G mobile network, analysis of IP network quality in mobile network has increased its importance. From packet transfer measurement done in 3G mobile network, some characteristics that are specific to mobile network were discovered, such as random quality state assignment in same condition. In this article, some basic characteristics specific to mobile network and not familiar with fixed-line network are described using measured data. Also, new packet transfer delay model describing 3G mobile network is introduced.
