Cooperative Mobile Live Streaming Considering Neighbor Reception

Abstract(in English) Recently, demand for mobile live streaming systems increase with the spread of smartphones. Cellular-WiFi hybrid network is the method that enables peers to exchange chunks directly each other on mobile ad hoc network, with gathering chunks from their own cellular network. Cooperative live streaming using Cellular-WiFi hybrid network, each peer randomly selects the chunks to be gained by their own cellular network. This method doesn't consider the change of their cellular network bandwidth. In this paper, we propose CSANR, the method changes peer's usage of their own cellular network adaptively by considering reception of neighbor peers. In my proposal, peer can know reception of neighbor by exchanging their information each other. If neighbor peer's bandwidth decrease, CSANR can avoid increase of the number of the chunk not to be selected from peers, by increasing the number of the chunks gained themselves. Simulation results show that CSANR can reduce the effect of peer's cellular bandwidth change.
