Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Software Defined Networking (SDN) enables us to describe network control functions using general programming languages to satisfy the growing needs for customizable network features. The challenge is to define a flexible and universal network abstraction model and operations in order to mask underlying various network control protocols' details, so as to construct SDN controllers easily. This report proposes universal network abstraction model and architecture of SDN controller development platform, OdenOS, based on various use-cases. We show performance evaluation results using OdenOS prototype implementation.
