Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is thought that it is good for communication for a conversation scene to have a meal. However, all the existing research assumed the case where all members have meals. The purpose of this research is to clarify the difference in face-to-face dyadic conversation behavior on uneven meal distribution settings. Conversation scenes that both persons have meals, one person has a meal, and neither has a meal were videotaped, and a questionnaire was asked to fill out. From the analysis, it was found that a meal attracts participants' attention, especially when the meal was unevenly distributed. Also attentive listening is often likely to emerge in uneven meal distribution setting.
