Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The purpose of this study was to examine relations between four sorts of nonverbal behaviors during dyadic interaction, (i.e., interpersonal distance, mutual gaze, mutual talk, mutual silence) and atmosphere. Each of 60 participants was paired with unknown opposite-sex participant, thus 30 pairs made in total. They participated two interacting sessions, which were in first two minutes and then ten minutes. After two interaction sessions each participant completed questionnaires concerning atmosphere. The result showed that mutual silence at the end of interaction could affect the difference of atmosphere pairs recognized.
