Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper focuses on Xiansheng and Manzai as a factor of performing arts in China and Japan. We analyzed timing structure of utterances and body direction when performers spoke with each other. We compared with these analytical indicators between veteran and young duo as well as between two countries. From these results, Japanese Manzai pairs took turns faster than Chinese Xiansheng duos. We obtained that the stooge of Xiansheng duos turned to the feed at higher percentage than that of Japanese duos.
