Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Using 3DTV, we experimentally evaluated the effect of TV viewers' preference on emotional state estimation using physiological and psychological measurements. Our results indicated that near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), representing central nervous system activities, is potentially useful index for evaluating emotional states that include "feeling of involvement". Moreover it indicated that low frequency/high frequency ratio (LF/HF), representing sympathetic nervous system activities, is also useful indices for evaluating emotional states that include "feeling of involvement." And they indicate the potential for improving accuracy of evaluation by combining complex emotional states into a physiological index, and with analyzing for each separated group by participants preference. |
