Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The goal of this research is to propose and evaluate the vocabulary search system for child-contents creators. Using large-scale cross-sectional data collected by vocabulary checklist method, the vocabulary search system makes it possible to search the information about when Japanese-learning children acquire particular words in terms of comprehension and production. To evaluate this system, child-contents creators used the system to create picture books and then filled out questionnaires. We found that the system works beneficially and helpfully for the child-contents creators. The present findings suggest that searching vocabulary information about earlier stages of lexical development would lead to a sort of support for child-contents creations.
