Abstract(in English) | Step index type multimode fiber is one of the strong candidate to use for short distance optical transmission inside of automobiles. We measured encircled angular flux (EAF) of 3 km-long hard-plastic clad fiber (HPCF) to clarify the equilibrium mode distribution (EMD) of step index type multimode fiber and confirmed that some side load would be influence to EAF variation and 3 km-long HPCF transmission without side load shows EMD. |
