Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Bolted construction on a shake table gets a screw loose. A nut attached to a bolt in immediate contact with a vibrating body such as electric toothbrush shows ballistic motion or chaotic diffusion along the axis of the bolt. A two-dimensional potential with a circular trench and an external oscillating field are introduced to reproduce phenomenologically the above-mentioned motion of the nut. The ballistic motion corresponds to a rotational motion in the circular trench. The way of contact between the bolt and the vibrating body is simplified and expressed by a direction of the external field.
