Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In this study, we conduct a laboratory experiment to observe a switching phenomenon such that oscillation waveform successively changes between two oscillatory modes, in two coupled hard-type oscillators. As a result, we report an experimental observation of the switching phenomenon as a real physical dynamic process. We investigate the influence on the characteristic of the switching phenomenon when the degree of nonlinearity of the oscillator is changed. In addition, we report interesting transitional dynamics that appear around the bifurcation point of the phenomenon. |
