Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Movement of particles and the determination of the solution search direction in the particle swarm optimization(PSO) are made by the best position and the best position of all the particles of a swarm which the particle itself obtained in the past. In the conventional PSO, if the swarm of particles converges on a certain position, the velocity will not be obtained. Therefore, search of the solution stagnates. When search of solution has stagnated, the method of accelerating particles and improving solution search performance by referring to not only the best position but the worst position, is proposed. |
