Performance comparison between Duobinary and QAM transmission in optical fiber communications

Abstract(in English) We compared between the receiver-side duobinary shaping transmission and conventional QAM transmissions. We evaluate these technique by computer simulation in case of 3-channel WDM with channel spacing 25GHz. In the results, it was shown that the duobinary transmission with 16QAM has useful range of transmission rate compared with 64 QAM transmission.
