Abstract(in English) This report investigates the effect of user attributes on QoE of threshold selection interfaces by remote control for the video output scheme SCS in video-audio IP transmission. We use two kinds of methods to conduct a subjective experiment with high definition video and audio transmission; one selects the threshold by the user, and the other selects it by the system. As the methods in which the user selects the threshold, we employ two threshold selection interfaces by remote control: the two mode method and the four mode method. As the methods by which the system decides the threshold, we adopt the 0% method, the 100% method and the table lookup method. In the experiment, we utilize two content types: sport and drama. As a result, the threshold selection interfaces, in particular, the four mode method, achieves higher QoE than the other methods in sport. In addition, user attributes affect preferred threshold values.
