Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Researches of cell culture have attracted much attention according to the recent development of regenerative medicine. Therefore, higher functionalities for devices used for culturing cells are strongly demanded. In this research, we fabricated cell culture sheets using polymer materials which have microstructures, and performed cultivation of cells on these sheets. These polymers were transparent polyimide (PI), parylene, and polyetheretherketone (PEEK). Stromal marrow cell (OP9) was used for the cultivation of cells, and cultivation in alignment with microstructures was also investigated. The thermal nanoimprint method was used to fabricate the microstructures with the width and depth of 5μm on the polymer substrates. Cultivation of the cells has been confirmed on the transparent PI and parylene sheets, and it has not been observed on the PEEK sheet. Slight alignments of the cells were observed along with the microstructures.
