Abstract(in English) | Bulk hetero-junction solar cells based on [Poly[[4,8-bis[(2-ethylhexyl)oxy]benzo [1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene-2,6-diyl][3-fluoro-2-[(2-ethylhexyl)carbonyl]thieno[3,4-b]-thiophenediyl] (PTB7) and phenyl-C_<71>-butyric-acid-methyl-ester (PC_<70>BM) on a flexible indium tin oxide (ITO)-coated polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate. The fabricated structure was Al/LiF/PTB7:PC_<70>BM/PEDOT:PSS/ITO, and the influences of the lithium fluoride (LiF) buffer layer on the performances of the solar cells were investigated. The LiF layer significantly enhanced the open-circuit voltages and power conversion efficiencies of the solar cells presumably due to the better contact between the Al cathode and the PTB7:PC_<70>BM layer. The resulted conversion efficiency was increased from 2.31% to 4.02% by inserting the LiF layer. |
