Abstract(in English) We have designed S-band SSPA for space use by using high efficient GaN devices. Not only the RF Section but the Electric Power unit, Power monitor unit, Control unit have been designed and evaluated these performances. Over 74% PAE has been achieved for final stage 20W class device and over 64% PAE has been realized including driver amplifier. Total PAE of the SSPA was over 50%. We summarize results of this development.
