Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, large data centers with tens of thousands of servers have been built to handle very large amounts of data generated by various online applications. In a data center, servers handle such very large amounts of data by communicating with each other via the network within the data center. Thus, the network within a data center should provide sufficiently large-bandwidth and low-latency communication between servers. Because the failures are common in a data center, the data center must provide the services even when some devices fail. In addition, the energy consumption is also important problem in a data center. In this talk, we introduce the research on the data center network satisfying these requirements.
