Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In recent years, large data centers with tens of thousands of servers have been built to handle very large amounts of data generated by various online applications. In a data center, servers handle such very large amounts of data by communicating with each other via the network within the data center. Thus, the network within a data center should provide sufficiently large-bandwidth and low-latency communication between servers. Because the failures are common in a data center, the data center must provide the services even when some devices fail. In addition, the energy consumption is also important problem in a data center. In this talk, we introduce the research on the data center network satisfying these requirements. |
