On Communication Control Method for Ad-hoc Network using W-LAN

Abstract(in English) Ad-hoc network using. W-LAN needs effective mechanism to mitigate hidden terminals. W-LAN standard specification provides RTS/CTS while it creates exposed terminals as a new issue. We propose to increase data rate of RTS and limits its propagation range in order to mitigate exposed terminals. This method is expected to mitigate or eliminate exposed terminals and maintain aggregated network throughput. The simulation program to verify the proposed method and its result are also mentioned.
