Practice Report on Introduction of Cloud-Based Groupware in Web Design Education

Abstract(in English) This research provides a practice report on the introduction of cloud-based groupware for practicing web site production in a project format at a vocational school specializing in design. The students themselves created and operated a team site for project support with the aim of boosting desire to participate in the course. The results showed that, in groups which actively used the team site, production work and communication proceeded smoothly, and quality of the final product (i.e., the web site) was excellent. It was confirmed that creating a favorable work environment through the students' own efforts helped ensure a successful project, and was useful for improving and ensuring continuation of the desire to learn.
