Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this research, the frame size of overlapped FFT energy detection for wireless LAN signal has been evaluated. Wireless LAN channels are assigned at 5MHz interval in the 2.4GHz ISM band. In the FFT based energy detection, the frame size changes transmit filter characteristics in it stopband. For the same total number of samples, a longer FFT frame size improves the amount of suppression. In this research, detection probability and wrong detection probability are compared based on frame size and overlap ratio. Numerical results through computer simulation show that the overlapped FFT scheme with the frame size of 16 achieves the same detection probability as that with the frame size of 64.
