Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the Information Society, values in intangibles such as information are higher than those in tangible goods. However, compared with rapid development of information theory as well as information economics, the legal analysis on information is fairly lagged. This paper tries to analyze the treatment of information as 'legal object' from dichotomy of property versus secrecy, as the first step toward a general theory for Information Law.
