Practical Case Study of Smart Grid and Smart Community

Abstract(in English) In this talk, I will show the practical implementation of Building Energy Management System (BEMS), Home Energy Management System (HEMS), and Community/Cluster Energy Management System (CEMS) as an integration EMS of them. By using these EMS, I explain what kinds of application we can build as a future infrastructure and what kinds of technology the EMS requires. As practical implementations, Nagasaki EV&ITS, a practical case of EV city and Green Society ICT Life-Infrastructure Project in Kurihara City, Miyagi Pref., a test bed of future integrated infrastructure of information, energy, climate and medicals. After that, I propose the future infrastructure image of hierarchically distributed cloud services.
