Abstract(in English) The authors are proposing Bring Your Own Network (BYON), a mobile network basis that can build a virtual network suitable for a specific service locally and continuously around a user without making the user conscious of the changes of place and communication environments. BYON enables operators to keep the accessibility and communication quality of the specific service even in the condition of congestions. BYON also enables mobile users to access to the remote network with the same device configurations, communication quality, and security. This paper describes a detailed design of a virtual Radio Frequency Interface (vRF-I/F), which can build virtual wireless service areas on a per-service basis, and shows a design of a seamless handover between those virtual wireless service areas. This paper demonstrates a seamless (and loss-free) handover can be completed in at most 65 ms between those virtual wireless service areas using virtual WiFi base stations we developped.
