Abstract(in English) | The quasi-LSE_<01> and quasi-LSM_<11> undesired modes as well as the LSM_<01> operating mode are propagated along the NRD guide inserting the metal strip in the vertical mid-plane when the width of the metal strip is narrow or wide. These undesired modes are propagated under the radiation frequency in the 94GHz NRD guide. With this in mind, we calculated the transmission characteristics of the undesired modes and designed the workable suppressor at 94GHz. Next we designed the mode suppressor using PTFE strip together with the RT Duroid substrate for the fabrication. We calculated the transmission characteristics and confirmed the usability. |
