Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a non-rigid surface registration method for point distribution model, which considers spatial connectivity of likelihood distribution. Because the the state-of-the-art method evaluates the local appearance near each point only, one often estimates incorrectly the point away from the target organ surface when the point has higher likelihood than the surface. In the proposed method, in order to consider spatial connectivity of likelihood distribution, the appearance on the triangular patches of which one of three vertices is the target point is also evaluated. The statistical shape model in the proposed method is the high-order Markov random eld model. Experimental results demonstrated that our proposed method is more precision inference than privious method.
