Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The functional safety standard IEC61508 becomes widely used in industry. The purpose of the functional safety is the safety attainment guaranteed by rigorous approach and review performed through Software Life Cycle Process. However, gradually, the intrinsic frame of this standard became ambiguous and was emasculated by certification activities done by certification bodies. A certification body is transfiguring a standard for his business. As a result, in a manufacturing site, it becomes difficult to introduce an outstanding new technology into computer systems. This actual condition is discussed in this paper from experience of development of a railway signaling system. |
