Abstract(in English) To realize the cost reduction of connecting multi mode optical fibers, the all plastic ferrule was developed. The high accurate dimension of the ferrules was studied by novel manufacturing method. We achieved with the concentricity of 0.88um(ave.), and the diameter precision of <±0.3um. The characteristics of the connector using the plastic ferrules for multi mode fiber were good result of practical use.
