Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a concept of expressing robot's internal process (searching, reasoning, etc) in the form of its mental imagery through robot's display. In this research, we examine four transition effects on the mental imagery, each of which reminds the viewers of a particular robot's internal state in six use situations. As a result, we find that the four different transition effects give the viewers different impressions and may distinguish some of robot's internal state.
