Abstract(in English) We are researching new technologies to retrieval video scenes for large volume of video. Here, we pro-pose a method of scene retrieval using a new video feature called " histogram of multi-scale image peace words". This video feature could express the content of scene comprehensively, and it numerically represents the variations and their frequencies of block region images which compose frame images in a scene. In this paper, we exposit the structure of this new video feature and show examples of scene retrieval results for program videos using this feature Additionally, we show the efficacy of proposed method as a video feature by the accuracy comparison with " bag of visual words " method using color SIFT feature which is popular as one of object recognition methods.
