| Abstract(in English) | Recently, the number of foreign residents in Japan is increasing. Consequently, the opportunity of communication among people whose native language are different increases. When people communicate with each other, the difference of the language is a huge barrier. Moreover, it is important to communicate reliably in the medical field. Therefore, such multilingual communication support systems often use parallel texts Col-lecting parallel texts by people have the advantage that people can create parallel texts needed by medical field. Various information on actually medical field is indispensable to make parallel texts. However, it is difficult to get enough information for making parallel texts. In this study, we propose mining starter sentences method to create example sentences for medical field using Web search engine and search log of Face-to-face Multilingual Communication System. We showed this method can mine starter sentences that people may not come up with at a rate of about 38% from Web. |
