Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The number of foreign residents and foreign visitors in Japan has been increasing every year. The opportunities for communication among people whose native languages differ are increasing. However, accurate in-formation sharing in multiple languages is currently inadequate. This problem appears conspicuously in the medical field, during emergencies, and so on. To solve this problem, parallel-text has been used for accurate multilingual communication. Parallel-text is able to support accurate information sharing. There are parallel-text creating projects. A parallel-text is a corpus of multilingual translated texts pairs. There is ongoing research in the col-lection and use of parallel-texts. However, studies that have simultaneously researched on both the collection and use of parallel-texts do not exist in the literature. The purpose of this study is to facilitate smooth multilingual communication using parallel-texts. In this study, we discuss and verify systems that can achieve both the collection and use of parallel-texts.
