Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The number of foreign residents and foreign visitors in Japan has been increasing every year. The opportunities for communication among people whose native languages differ are increasing. However, accurate in-formation sharing in multiple languages is currently inadequate. This problem appears conspicuously in the medical field, during emergencies, and so on. To solve this problem, parallel-text has been used for accurate multilingual communication. Parallel-text is able to support accurate information sharing. There are parallel-text creating projects. A parallel-text is a corpus of multilingual translated texts pairs. There is ongoing research in the col-lection and use of parallel-texts. However, studies that have simultaneously researched on both the collection and use of parallel-texts do not exist in the literature. The purpose of this study is to facilitate smooth multilingual communication using parallel-texts. In this study, we discuss and verify systems that can achieve both the collection and use of parallel-texts. |
