Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Traffic accidents caused by drowsy driving can be deadly because drowsy drivers cannot carry out evasive actions. Therefore, the detection of drowsy driving has been studied actively. In the previous study, detection of drowsiness level based on physiological signals, facial features or car behavior have been suggested. However, the driver is affected by not only the internal factor like drowsiness but also the external factor like changing road shape. In this external factor, the changing road shape affects the effective field of view of the driver. Therefore, we consider that the changing road shape is key factors. Therefore, this study proposed the estimation of driver's drowsiness level considering the road shape. As result, we obtained high accuracy and high relation for estimation of drowsiness level.
