Abstract(in English) The timeworn road causes various accidents by the obstacle such as a crack, a pothole, a wheel track. Thus, regularly and continuously, an inspection of road maintenance and repair are carried out. However, overlooking by these obstacles and low efficiency caused by non-automation has been cited as a problem to have possibilities to judge repairing of road by visual observation and rule of thumb. In a present study, I report analysis of road environment using image processing for the purpose of efficiency and the precision improvement of the road repair.
