Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to reduce the fatalities from traffic accidents of a driver in recent years, research on offer of traffic information and safe driving support using a road sensor and an in-vehicle sensor is done briskly. As a result, although the number of the whole traffic accident is decreasing, the number of the injured in bicycle riding has increased in the next in automobile riding. In addition, although the policy which performs pedestrian protection from a bicycle is performed, the security of the bicycle from a running vehicle has been a subject from the former. So, by this research, in order to recognize the bicycle under the situation where an accident probability of occurrence is high, since the multi-direction bicycle cognitive algorithm which used the in-vehicle camera was developed, it reports.
