| 抄録(和) | 本研究は、静止画像内の主要な物体を自動的に検出することを目的とする。画像内から主要な物体を自動検出する技術は、物体認識や画像検索など多くの分野で課題となっている。本研究では、人間の視覚特性を考慮した、注視モデルを用いる物体検出手法を提案する。提案アルゴリズムでは、知覚的に顕著な特徴を抽出する顕著性マップと画像内の領域の形状を捉える領域分割画像を組み合わせて用いることにより、知覚的顕著性を考慮した主要な物体の自動検出の実現を目指す。更に本研究では、Ground Truthを用いる定量的な評価法によって他手法との比較を行い、提案手法の有効性を検証する. |
| 抄録(英) | The purpose of this research is the automatic detection of major objects in a still image. To develop the techniques of automatic detection of major objects is a challenging task in many fields such as object recognition and image retrieval. We propose an algorithm to detect major objects by using visual attention model based on the early process of the human vision. In the proposed algorithm, we aimed at achiving the automatic detection of major objects by combining the saliency map that extracts perceptually salient features and the segmented image that acquires the boundary of each region. We compare our method with the other methods using the quantitative evaluation with ground truth, and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
