Abstract(in English) This paper presents the a Distributed Array Antenna (DAA) that is applied for portable type satellite communication antennas The DAA consists of several small antennas, an array controller and a modem The array controller controls the phase of each antenna's transmitting and receiving signal appropnately to realize in-phase combining To enhance versatility, we allow to utilize existing antennas and a modem by employing the array controller at IF band The array controller compensates each antenna's phase drift, that degrades DAA's gain, by monitormg loopback receiving signal level To verify the DAA constructing technique, we fabricated a DAA which consisted of two portable type antennas and tested the antenna using a Ku-band satellite link These result showed the DAA offered desired performances
