Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To measure performances of network hardware, there are methods of using the software and specialized hardware Software testing can be operated a flexible test scenario. But measure of precision is very limited. Mean-while, specialized hardware testing is possible high performance measurements but have little flexibility. In this paper, we propose a high performance and flexible network test environment using Linux connected PCI Express with FPGA. In general, the interface to communicate between Linux and network IO is used BSD Socket library. Our implementation doesn't use BSD Socket, and wethe interface with network IO about character device. The testing traffic is written and read with Linux friendly character device directly. To build testing hardware, software and its communicate interface, we provide the flexible network test environments.
