Abstract(in English) With the spread of high performance mobile terminals, an information distnbution system for them has been attracting attention in various situations. In this study, we propose a new information distribution system that broadcasts contents towards Android terminals by using IP multicasting through Wi-Fi We have first evaluated the communication characteristics of IP multicast over Wi-Fi, which clarified that the continuous packet loss rarely occurs, hence the packet loss can be complemented by redundantly sending the same data Based on this result, we have proposed redundant transmission method of voice data and have developed the information distribution system. Furthermore, from the result of experimental evaluation in Nagaoka Fireworks Festival, it has been concluded that the proposed system can reduce loss rate of voice data to a half of packet loss rate and can provide voice distnbution to 250m away place from the information distnbution point.
