Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On-chlp optlcs in image sensors has played an important role for image sensor pixel shrinkage and image sensorprogression on the whole There are three key functions, light collecting, color filtering and new speclfic functions, all ofwhich are reviewed with their futue trends For light collecting technologies, ll2um pixel FSI(front side illumination)withnoble lightpipe, which is suitable for large chief ray angle lenses, is explained.
