Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a design of 0-dB forward coupler consisting of the half-mode groove waveguides and fabrication of 0-dB coupler for wireless power transmission The design frequencies are assumed 5 8GHz and 24GHz The transverse resonance technique and the mode matching method are applied to denve the even- and odd-modes phase constants First, we calculate the phase constants for even- and odd-modes as a function of spacing between two guides Then, coupled power as a function of distance is denved to achieve 100% coupling Since it is considered that radiation from open section of coupler occurs, we also discuss about 0dB coupler inserting dielectnc strip in spacing The validity of design results is confirmed by using em-simulator (HFSS) and fabrication
