Abstract(in English) In electron beam processing system and ion implantation devices, it is necessary to supply electric power to their high voltage region needed to generate electrons and ions. This paper investigates efficient wireless transmission of power to the high voltage region across prescribed insulating distance. In order to transit power over long gap, a half bridge topology in which a resonant capacitor is connected in series to a transmitter coil in a primary circuit and parallel to a receiver coil in a secondary circuit is adopted for reactive power compensation. Because the receiver coil is arranged near the high voltage region, it needs to be surrounded by an electrostatic shield, which results in interference of power transmission due to the action of its electromagnetic shielding. In order to overcome the problem and improve the magnetic coupling between the primary and secondary coils, the shape of the shield is devised. The simulation and experimental results of wireless power transmission at the condition that an electrostatic shield is placed between the two coils 300 mm distant or not are discussed.
