Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) MPI (Magnetic Particle Imaging) is a method to image magnetic nanoparticles accumulate in the human body, and is expected to the application of in-vivo diagnosis of malignant tumor We developed a high-sensitivity AC magnetic field measurement system for the imaging of magnetic nanoparticles In developing the system, we used cooled pickup coil to reduce the thermal noise We also detected a third-harmonic signal from the nanoparticles in order to reduce the interference of the excitation field When we used the excitation c field with frequency of 1kHz and amplitude of 1.6mT, we could successfully detect 100 μg of magnetic nanoparticles located at the depth of 100 mm
