Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | To predict drug safety variables, traditional cardiac testing for new drug has involved invasive examination using implanted electrode in small animals But today, alternative non-invasive methods have been developed because of high quality data derived from nonsurgical treatment of many animals The advantage of magnetocardiograph (MCG) is the non-invasiv measurement of cardiac physiological study Therefore, we have developed the HTS-SQUID system for non-invasively toxicological and safety study Then we have estimated the sensitivity of HTS-SQUID system and measured mice MCG As a result, the white noise level was measured as 8μΦ_0/√Hz using AC current bias Moreover, we could detect mice MCG and its magnetic field was 25 pT(p-p) Therefore the non-invasive approach, as the mouse MCG measurement, could be carried out under low-noise condition using our SQUID system |
