Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ultrasonic spectroscopy and rheology are two powerful tools to investigate the micro-structure and dynamics at the molecular level. These techniques have been complimentarily employed to reveal the origin of the function of the soft condensed materials. As time goes by, they are regarded as independent methods of the material characterization, however, recent progress in the micro-fluidics including the inkjet and nan-patterning technology requires both of information derived from these two methodologies. In the presentation, the author would show the feature and difference of the ultrasonic spectroscopy technique and the rheology and discuss the common understandings between them.
