Design of NRD Guide at 94 GHz

Abstract(in English) The NRD guide, which consists of dielectric strips inserted in a below cutoff parallel metal plate waveguide, was investigated at 35 and 60 GHz, respectively, and several types of millimeter-wave circuits were proposed In this paper, the NRD guide was designed at 94 GHz, being called a window of radio waves At first, the spacing between the parallel metal plates and the height and width of the dielectric strip were decided based on the design diagram of the NRD guide Next, the dispersion charactenstics and the transmission loss were calculated and its low loss nature was confirmed And finally, the design diagram of the NRD guide bends was calculated and the coupling characteristics were derived for design of the directional coupler
