Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Signal detection without changing parameters of analog circuits is required to recognize radio environments on the adjacent channels with a short observation period in dynamic spectrum access. This report proposes an improvement scheme of overlapped FFT energy detection by summing consecutively received frames. Since the noise spectrum on the adjacent channels is declining, the correlation between the consecutive frames can be negative. Therefore, the new frame can reduced the energy of the noise through the summation. The overlapped FFT scheme with frame summation improves the signal detection probability at the small overlap ratio on the adjacent channels. Numerical results obtained through computer simulation show that the proposed scheme can improve the probability by about 2%.
