Performance Evaluation of 2-D LOT in Image Coding

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we evaluate the performance of 2-D LOT in image coding. First, we explain the properties of 2-D LOT and 2-D DCT, especially about the coding gain. Next, we introduce basic measures of image quality in order to measure the level of blocking effects as well as the statistics. Finally, we show the effectiveness of the coding scheme using 2-D LOT through computer simulations.
